Phd Project Advisory Council (PAC-15)
The PAC 15 will serve as the collective “voice” of our faculty and doctoral student members, provide guidance as The PhD Project considers new programs and partnerships, and be a sounding board for The PhD Project as it executes its strategy.
As the liaison to The PhD Project Board, the PAC-15 will communicate directly with the members within their respective discipline for your input on proposed ideas or new programs impacting the membership. We encourage you to contact any member of the PAC-15 with your ideas to support our mission and for helping us build a stronger, more diverse workforce. Together. We couldn’t do it without you.
The PAC-15 inaugural committee, listed below, includes three members from each of the five discipline associations and represents the diversity of our membership by ethnicity/race, academic tenure, university tier (i.e., research, hybrid, teaching) and school status (public, private, PWI, HBCU, HSI).
INAUGURAL committee members will serve a minimum of four years with five rolling off in July 2025. Five new members (one from each discipline) will be invited to join in July 2025 to serve a 3-year term. If you are interested in nominating yourself or someone else for the next round of new members, please send an email to Tara Perino.
